Life is Motion.
For Shan-e-Ali, life is motion. Originally from Lahore, he has spent years on two wheels across Pakistan before carrying that same spirit abroad. His most recent expedition — a 33-day solo loop across 25 U.S. states on a Suzuki DR650 with a Pakistani passport and flag — is one chapter in a much longer story. The next adventure is already in process. Through belikeshan, he shares films, photography and stories from every journey — not just one ride, but a lifetime of exploration.
Select a chapter to explore the story behind each era.

belikeshan is built on many roads — years across Pakistan, a recent loop across America, and the next adventure already in process.

“In Hardy, Virginia, a couple I had never met opened their home — their 100-year-old wooden house, their third-generation dining table, and conversations about Pakistani culture, American life and motorcycle travel. They were the first Pakistanis they had ever hosted. That is what this journey was really about.
“In small American towns and rural communities, people frequently asked about the Pakistani flag on my jacket. Some said I was the first Pakistani they had ever met. These encounters allowed both sides to learn about one another beyond politics and stereotypes.
“16,000km, one Pakistani flag — a solo journey that crossed snow, desert heat, thunderstorms and a crash, yet found its defining story in the people along the way.

In the Arizona desert, the bike went down. I checked myself, checked the motorcycle, and chose to continue.
